Savanna is Back
Somedays, one bottle just isn’t enough; if you want to get a little more out of life, you’ll order a second. In that spirit of excess, I thought that I would blog once again on our friend Savanna Samson. (She really isn’t our friend, but we she lives in New York, so we can always hope.) You will recall that we posted on the Porn Star Pour in November, 2005. Our naughty winemaker is back in the news - and everyone is excited about that! (Thank you to all of my friends for finally taking an interest in me and sending me relevant news stories…)
Natalie Oliveros, the woman behind the porn star persona Savanna Samson, was featured in a Reuters article today - and clearly the story spread to other news outlets including CNN.com. Some reasons we love Savanna (aka Natalie):
(1) Parker gave her 90 - 91 on her first release - and not because of her presentation
(2) She is so hot, she convinced a winemaker for the Vatican to join her team - I am a big fan of any scandal in the Church
(3) Halle and Reese have nothing on Savanna; she makes great wine and has a Best Actress statue from her peers
(4) She knows how to sell: The wine has a “spiciness — the Cesanese has the naughty side of me. And yet it’s an elegant wine. I love the opera, and I’m a classically trained ballet dancer. And there is some chocolate undertone, which I just love. There’s a little bit of sweetness. Like, 10 percent of the time I’m sweet,” she said. - We are curious what the other 90% would be.
It is about time for me to try to Sogno Uno, her first bottle - an Italian red. The bottle was released about a month ago. As soon as I can get you a review, you’ll see here.
