In case you haven’t seen today’s San Francisco Chronical (and many of you New Yorkers probably haven’t) - the super-duper luxury Screaming Eagle was sold today. Charles Banks, a money manager for elite athletes, and Stanley Kroenke, owner of the Denver Nuggets and Colorado Avalanche (my native state!) purchased the winery from Jean Phillips for an undisclosed amount. WOW is all I can say.
