More states are negotiating bills that would allow restaurant patrons to take wine home after dinner. Given the extremely high restaurant mark-up, I think it is only fair. The state currently in play - Illinois. The only downside, the waiters will probably get to experience less great wine that was left open. (St. Louis Post Dispatch)

California Wine Adventure
Everyone loves Disneyland. This weekend, their California Adventure themepark is hosting a wine weekend. If you are can make it to the park, I am sure it will be a fun time. Alhtough, I wouldn’t suggest enjoying the many wines before jumping on those rides. (Disneyland Report)

Ain’t The Today Show Rose
Joe Bastianich presented some roses on the Today Show this morning. He used the word terrior more than once. After showing the Dom Perignon Rose, Bastianich held up a Cava Rose and refered to it at the “Shabby Shiek”- seriously? And look forward to Ann Curry a bit hungover tomorrow. She was drinking that rose like a rockstar. (Today Show)
