Revenge of the Pop Wine
Fred Franzia is waging a war for the American consumer. The creator of Two Buck Chuck is pissing off the wine establishment in the process. He recently suffered a legal set-back when the courts ruled that to claim a wine region requires 75% of the grapes come from that region. And, he doesn’t take defeat well. “I’ll pound these guys” was his response. At least he is amusing. (SF Chronical)
My Kind of Wine Fun
I studied economics in college, and I first worked in finance before enterting the fascinating world of wine. Today, when I read about the newly creatly Journal of Wine Economics, I was excited. And my alma mater is participating. (Decanter)
Top Chef on Today Show
Katie Lee Joel just doesn’t come across as very smart. Her appearance was incredibly awkward; one really must laugh. Dave cooked his mac & cheese. And, poor Ann Curry just wanted to get on to the next segment - except it was the closing segment so she had no where to go. It is too bad not everyone could see it.
