Wines made from grapes picked toward the end of the harvest, in the late fall, when grapes are ripe. Ripe Riesling, Sauvignon Blanc, Selmillon, and Gerwurtztraminer grapes have higher sugar and are noted for rich, deep, honey flavors and are served with cheese or dessert.
