Generally produces fresh dry white wines comparable to Chardonnay. Less complex than Chardonnay, Pinot Blanc has scents of yeast and apple with hints of spice. Highly acidic, Pinot Blanc is generally consumed young when crisp, but age brings out a honey flavor.
