| Rieslings are a delicate yet complex wine, characterized by spicy, fruity flavors (including peach and apricot), a floral bouquet, and a long finish. Riesling can be found California, where early wines were made in a dry, oaky style. Some California wineries also produce lighter and more delicate German-style Rieslings, which are slightly to medium sweet. France produces Rieslings in the Alsace region and Italy produces top notch Rieslings in the Alto Adige region.
